The Future of Search

This article discusses the decline in traditional search engine queries, and the transition to mobile based search platforms.  The ability to search within the context of a mobile app and the increase in non-search-engine searches are just a few of the changes that have entered the arena.  The drive to mobile may not produce rapid changes to search marketers in the short-term, but there will be significant shifts to the landscape in the mid- to long-term.
