I Agree: Lengthy Social Media User Agreements

An artist decided to visually render the length of social media user agreements in an art installation titled "I Agree". Some spanned from the wall to the floor of the installation. At the end of each print he put the number of words and the amount of time it would take someone to read it. Surprisingly, to me, Facebook's was not the longest. These user agreements are only going to get longer with recent regulation changes and divergence in regulations around the world.

Another article I read says that no one actually reads these user agreements. The article goes on to state that reading these contracts could take the average person 250 hours per year in total and that there is concern they are essentially swallowing consumer protection laws. For example, by using the Uber app, you are waiving the right to trail by jury.
