Which half of the money you spend on digital marketing is wasted?

I came across an interesting article this week about how blockchain technology is helping companies and marketers to get better and more efficient at spending money where it counts more. As the digital marketing industry matures, internet traffic has been paired with dimishing returns. Blockchain technology allows for decentralized communications between different parties. This features fits well with the nature of the marketing world, where different "middlemen" are usually involved and control the territory between the end users and the advertisers.

Currently, Google controls the majority of these "middlemen" through Google Display Network and provides a "vetting" purpose. With blockchain, this process could have been more diverse. Websites could be validated and verified through blockchain instead of Google Display Network.
