While YouTube currently has numerous ads in the form of pre-roll videos and promoted content on the side, a recent startup calles Sponsify is looking to add a new dimension. It will focus on ads that are integrated with content in more meaningful ways, such as through product placements.
Sponsify seeks to solve a current issue wherein creators dont have an independent platform where they can source advertisers for their content. Sponsify's solution will allow brands to find creators who reach a desirable audience and propose campaigns such as product reviews and endorsements, sponsored Facebook or Twitter messages, etc.
