Have you researched your digital brand?

One of my favorite start-ups out there right now is Newsle, which has just closed $1.85M in a Series A-round financing. The company "curates" (yes everyone's favorite tech start-up word) news articles across the Internet about people within your social network.

With the massive overload of information that hits the web on a daily basis, this simple yet extremely effective model focuses on just those people within your social network, allowing you to efficiently navigate the Internet to key areas of interest, stay up to date with your colleagues and industries of interest, and perhaps most importantly, congratulate friends and family on their successes. Needless to say, it's pretty cool.

This got me to thinking about how this directly impacts our own personal brand, a brand that has now gone digital. Anyone in the world can download an abundance of information within minutes, which is why it's more important than ever to be aware of your unique digital personal brand.

Newsle has helped bring you the stories that you actually care about, that are relevant and that you recognize, but it is also bringing your digital brand to the forefront of Internet discovery.
