Yes, Online Marketing efforts can turn into sales

Can social media help boost a company’s bottom line? That’s what an online publication called The Globe and Mail are trying to discover.  They created a  five-part video series that tracks the progress of Power Hockey Academy, a Toronto-based company.  Power Hockey coaches young players on how to play hockey.

"Owner Richard Power wanted to learn how to use social media to market his business, and ultimately, to draw more customers. Dave Wilkin, owner of Redwood Strategic, spent several weeks coaching Richard on how to do this, and the results were pretty amazing"

The end results were positive.  Power really like the ability to use social platforms like Facebook and Twitter as a way to keep parents informed on their child's progress. He mentioned that he will continue to use the tips and tricks that Wilkin taught him to continue to use social media to boost sales.

One tip of Wilkin that Power will not continue to use is having his staff go out and down sales for Power Hockey.

However, despite that, the owner of Pockey Hockey was happy that he received Wilken's tips.
