Hungry Mobile Users

The most common mobile search are for restaurants, typically as mobile users look for guidance while they are out and about. Mobile phones are being used as consumers conduct research on store locators, menu finders, and mobile coupons. Typically people will visit the searched interest within the hour of search. For tablet user, the research is usually conducted far in advance of consumption (usual visit to searched restaurant occurs within the day). The difference is time is a reflection in the portability of the device.

This represents a great advertising and marketing opportunity to restaurants (to mobile devices through apps, etc.) because there may be increased conversion versus traditional display ads.
