Google, Apple, Facebook and Amazon are at each other’s throats in all sorts of ways

Would Apple be able to take on Google in the search and maps area?
Would Google be able to take on Facebook with its Google+?
Would Facebook be able to take on Amazon with the gift services?
And, would Amazon be able to take on Apple with its Kindle Fire and pricing model?

The now four technology giants are in a fierce war to take on each other in different aspects of its services and products. Who wins the battle for gaining consumers favorability is still unknown. It could still stay as it is or could totally change with a new ecosystem that is just better than what we have right now.

Not to forget the once powerful empire of Microsoft trying to regain its position with the launch of the Surface and the new OS. Many other small players as, Netflix, Hulu, Fourthsquare and Linkedin are rapidly growing to become a member of the IT giant or to be absorbed by the big four, strengthening their business.
