Hi All
Just wanted to quickly share the news that Facebook after many requests from users, is working on a 'dislike' button so that we don't awkwardly need like horrible news on Facebook anymore.
Believe though is will fundamentally change Facebook also from an advertising perspective, imagine an annoying add in your feed, I would be quick to dislike it, but what effect does that have on the ad? Will is disappear? Will Facebook charge more? Will the feature only work for non-sponsored posts?
Curious to see where they will take this! If I were them, there is a reason why launching it has been a bad idea up to now and I don't see any reason why that would have changed (if anything from a marketing perspective this could get very tricky), I dislike the 'dislike button' :-)

Happy to hear your thoughts!

Will be interesting to see how consumers and brands adapt this. With this new feature, some of the most "disliked" posts will likely attract just as much (if not more) attention than the most liked posts.
