"We're not doing anymore Windows"

Google is switching to Linux and Mac OS, Financial Times reported on the matter yesterday. All Windows users have to get CIO approval to continue running it on their computers. New hires are getting Macs or PCs with Linux. The main reason for the switch is "security concerns", in particular China hacker attack, which happened last December. Another possible reason is Google wants to switch to own system, Chrome

There is good description of situation on Computerworld blog. They claim "efficiency" or lack of it as one of the possible reasons for the switch

Windows lost more than 17% of its value during a little more than a month: from 31.33 per share on April 21st to 25.90 on June 1st. And with news like this coming up the trend is not likely to reverse
