Google today launched Tag Manager which is aimed at helping websites speed up their load times and making modifying them a little more efficient. It is an all-in-one coding that links up with analytics and other advertising and marketing services.There are other competitors already operating in the space but Google's entry positions the company further into enterprise services. 

In the context of digital marketing, this indicates a trend of the big players positioning themselves more and more as enterprise solutions which is smart given that tech evolves quickly and companies like Google need to constantly innovate and position itself in new industries as a true value add to avoid the fate of (for example, the early search sites we discussed in class)
