Retailers reveal top digital marketing strategies

A recent survey of apparel retailers conducted by Channel Advisor revealed some surprising results about their digital marketing efforts. In regards to ROI, retailers listed Amazon as the top digital marketing platform. This is surprising, as I would have thought Google would be the leading platform. But it does make sense given that Amazon is a sprawling e-commerce platform that also generates sales for these same retailers as a 3rd party marketplace. Retailers have been making the most of Amazon’s advertising programs such as Sponsored Products and Product Ads to boost sales and increase brand awareness. After Amazon, retailers found Facebook and Google to be the greatest sources of ROI for their digital marketing efforts.
