Amazon Prime Day

Amazon is coming back with their second annual "Amazon Prime Day Sales". This special day is to help promote member $99 annual subscriptions, offering exclusive deals and massive discounts to Amazon Prime members only. 

Large internet retailers and big performers of Electronic commerce have noticed this trend to work. Apart from Amazon, Alibaba's Taobao has also optimized this one day exclusive discount to encourage spending on site.

The Amazon Prime Day alone brings 50-60% rise in purchases Globally with $525 million in projected profits. The Mobile-commerce market has also helped the increased in sales with the an increase of 100% in purchase through the Amazon Mobile application. This effective sales has not only gain organic traffic to it's site, but also accelerates transactions.
