The power of social media was no exception in politics. According to Twitter, Wednesday's debate was the most tweeted event in U.S. political history. More than 11 million comments about the debate circulated the Twitterverse Wednesday night.
Although election is over here's another great example of the power of social media.
President Barack Obama's campaign posted a photograph of him embracing his wife, first lady Michelle Obama, to Facebook and Twitter late Tuesday, which caused a huge sensation on the SNS. By Thursday the photo had been retweeted more than 785,000 times, topping a previous tweet by pop star Justin Bieber. (by CNN)
