LinkedIn Swings to Profit

The recently profitable LinkedIn continues to enjoy huge revenue growth. What sets LinkedIn apart from some of its struggling internet counterparts is that most of its revenue comes from partnerships and subscriptions, as opposed to more traditional advertisements. The company has been innovative in its revenue sources, and I am looking forward to seeing how its new products, such as its Sales Navigator Tool, pan out. In the future, it will be interesting to see how other internet companies also shift their digital marketing campaigns away from banner ads toward other products.
